HackLab: Hardware Hack Night

HackLab: Hardware Hack Night

Harvard Innovation Lab & Hack Harvard are super excited to bring you a night of hardware hacking!

Want to hack on some hardware? Come join us to get hands on experience with arduino, raspberry pi, and elementary robotics. You’ll get to work with other students and more experienced hackers on some basic hardware/electronic projects.

We’ll bring in hardware experts and devices for you to play with. At the end, you’ll have a chance to demo the cool things you’ve built.

We’ll kick things off at 6:30 with pizza and an intro to the projects at each table. Pick a table to join and hack for a few hours with fellow students under the expert’s guidance, then we’ll demo your projects at 10:00PM.

  • Arduino - learn the basics of Arduino (basic CS skills required)
  • Raspberry Pi - learn the basics of Raspberry Pi (basic CS skills required)
  • Advanced/Robotics - learn advanced concepts like controlling servos (for people with some prior arduino or RPi experience)

You bring your laptops and curiosity, we’ll bring the hardware, pizza and mentors!
