Speaker Name: Dr Angela Jackson (Managing Partner at New Profit) and Drew Madson (Co-Founder and CEO of Readlee)

Dr. Angela Jackson is the Chief Ecosystem Investment Officer at Kapor Enterprises, a Bay Area impact investing firm where she manages an investment portfolio that spans EdTech, Workforce Tech and community development. Previously Dr. Jackson was a Managing Partner at New Profit where launched the Future of Work Grand Challenge, an initiative to rapidly reskill 25,000 displaced workers into living-wage jobs in the next 24 months. Dr. Angela Jackson is the former founding executive director of the Global Language Project.

Drew Madson is Co-Founder/CEO at Readlee. Launched in 2020, Readlee is now the go-to reading platform for tens of thousands of students and teachers across the United States. The platform was born from Drew’s experience as a Master high school History and English Teacher. While studying as an Urban Scholar at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Drew launched Readlee with fellow Urban Scholar, Steve Askar.
