Our building at 125 Western Avenue has always been known as a hub of innovation and imagination, first as the studios of groundbreaking public television station WGBH, and now as the home of The Harvard Innovation Labs.
But it’s known for something else too.
Please join us on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 5 PM when we will be delighted to continue the great WGBH/Harvard tradition of inviting Harvard folks and our neighbors in the greater Allston community to a yearly Ice Cream Social.
It will be a great opportunity for Crimsons and Allstonians to gather and spend some quality time with each other — and with Ben & Jerry’s finest.
And since it coincides with HUBweek, Boston’s annual citywide celebration of innovation and the future, you’ll also have a chance to check out our Harvard Innovation Labs event exploring the fascinating connection between innovation and storytelling.
Our HUBWeek event, “The Power of Telling a Great Story” begins at 4 PM and will feature WGBH Radio’s Kara Miller, the host of “Innovation Hub” and a Story Slam featuring entrepreneurial venture teams from the Harvard Innovation Labs. Registration for the event is now live online.
Or you can come at 5 PM for the Ice Cream Social and enjoy a showcase of teams from the i-lab’s Venture Incubation Program. Either way, you don’t want to miss out.
