The Deans' Design Challenge: Urban Life 2030 Demo Day

The Deans' Design Challenge: Urban Life 2030 Demo Day

This year, Dean Mohsen Mostafavi of the Harvard Graduate School of Design Dean, and Cherry Murray of the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, announced the launch of the Deans’ Design Challenge: Urban Life 2030. The goal of the Challenge was to encourage student teams to find collaborative, entrepreneurial, and sustainable solutions to best address the world’s growing population, the expanding urban context, and the challenges that arise from this growth and increased density while considering functional, aesthetic, economic, environmental, and sociopolitical conditions.

We are pleased to invite you to the Demo Day at the i-lab to showcase the hard work of the Challenge's Finalist Teams this semester.

5-6 PM: The finalist teams will show their projects to the Harvard community and share ideas during a reception.

6-7 PM: Formal program with remarks from the Deans. The grand-prize winner and any runner(s) up will be announced at the conclusion of the program!

We check all attendee registrations at the door. Please bring a printed or smartphone copy of your EventBrite registration and Harvard student ID if you have registered as a Harvard Student. Attendance will be limited to registered guests and tickets will not be available at the door.
