This session is open to anyone in the Harvard community — current students, alumni, staff/faculty, and affiliates.

In this beginner’s guide to product management, you’ll learn why PM is is one of the most in demand roles of the decade.

What makes a great product? And what does the product team of a company actually do? Find out these answers and hear David Wang’s six steps to finding product-market fit at this session. This workshop is especially helpful for non-technical team members who are eager to learn the basics of product management.

About the Speaker

David Wang is a global product leader with 15+ years of experience building products for start-ups and coaching corporates in Australia. Currently, Dave is the Founder of ProductAcademy.io — an online school advancing the art of Product Management for technology products.

He has taught over 3,000+ students globally at General Assembly and has over 1,400 students in his school learning product management for free. Throughout the past two years, Dave has helped founders raise over $1.2M in pre-seed funding.

In his spare time, he’d write about all things product management for a publication with over 1 million readers globally.
