Kelly is the Owner/Managing Member of Civano Advisory Services, LLC. An affiliate of the Civano companies, that provides consulting services for wellness resort development, operations and programs. His career milestones include as the CEO of Sensei reorganizing and successfully launching the brand, an evidence-led wellness technology and destination resort company (2019-2022) including Sensei Lanai, a Four Seasons Resort, and Sensei Porcupine Creek. Kelly navigated a successful sale of the asset in 2015. Kevin also served as president and chief branding officer of world-renowned wellness resort company, Canyon Ranch, from 2001 to 2009 – during its largest historic growth period. As founder and CEO of Civano Development and Civano Living, (1998 – present) Kelly created one of the first sustainable real estate developments in the U.S. to pioneer alternative and energy-efficient homes, water conservation and pedestrian-oriented land planning techniques, and a leisure travel consultancy focused on sustainable well-being. Civano and its (precursor) affiliated companies developed 2,000 units, urban mixed-use commercial projects, and master-planned 8,000-acres. He has published landmark articles and reports on emerging wellness lifestyle trends and his companies have been the recipient of accolades from the White House, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, Global Wellness Summit, and The Congress for New Urbanism, for their groundbreaking ventures. Early in his career Kevin was the founding Executive Director of two nonprofits that oversaw economic development and created empowering social programs in high-risk, low-income urban communities in the Northeast. He did extensive fundraising and shepherded those organizations into the United Way funding system as permanent members.
