Avery Reaves is a partner at WilmerHale with experience in advising technology and life sciences clients on corporate and securities matters throughout the corporate lifecycle and in representing early-stage companies and investors in seed stage, venture capital, and other transactions. He frequently presents on legal issues to entrepreneurial communities, incubators, and business school classes and has been a judge for the New Venture Competition for several years. Avery also routinely counsels public companies in capital markets and corporate governance matters.
He is a member of WilmerHale’s Emerging Companies/Venture Capital and Capital Markets practices and edits the firm’s annual Venture Capital Report. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Avery was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and a venture fellow at a small venture capital firm.
