Joy Massicotte is a Program Associate supporting Climate Innovation programs at the i-lab, helping coordinate initiatives that connect research, education, and entrepreneurship to advance practical climate solutions.
Joy brings over a decade of experience managing mission-driven programs across sustainability, education, and technology. She has led complex, grant-funded initiatives, including multimillion-dollar NSF-supported projects, and has coordinated partnerships among researchers, developers, educators, and community stakeholders. Her background includes work in clean energy program development, STEM curriculum design, and sustainability initiatives, with graduate training in natural resource management from the University of New Hampshire and a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from San Francisco State University.
Outside of work, Joy enjoys spending time outdoors, learning and practicing regenerative approaches to living, and building community through shared meals, music, and connection to place. She is inspired by collaborative models that support both ecological resilience and human well-being.
