Visit

The Harvard Innovation Labs are located in two adjacent buildings on Harvard’s Allston campus, bordering the Harvard Business School

Hours

  • i-lab: If you’re a matriculated, degree-seeking Harvard student, the i-lab is open to you 24/7. Just swipe your ID at the front desk and you should have access. Small caveat: you can only get into the building with swipe access until 11pm every day. But, if you’re in the building before those times, you will not be kicked out. Your swipe access starts again at 7am. The lobby is open to the public from 7am to 7pm.
  • Life Lab: The Life Lab is accessible to members with badge access 24 hrs. Regular hours of operations are 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Getting Here

The Harvard shuttle provides transportation between the Innovation Labs and the Harvard Square and Longwood campuses (trackable via the Shuttle Tracker system) to ensure easy access for undergraduate and graduate students. You can also take MBTA bus and subway services, rent a Zipcar or bike here. There’s a BLUEbikes station just outside the i-lab.

Parking

Metered parking is available for $2.00 per hour in the Life Lab(entrance at 125 Western Ave, to the west of the i-lab). You can also purchase a day pass for the Harvard Business School parking lot.

Tours

We, unfortunately, don’t provide tours to the general public.

Children

The i-lab is a focused co-working environment that is designed for adult use. To maintain our culture of respect for everyone using the space, children may enter only under special circumstances, such as an unforeseen lack of childcare or an event that has been specified as open to families. When in the i-lab, children must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.
