Speaker Bio: Fereydoun Firouz is currently a Fellow of the HBS Advanced Leadership Initiative. Previously, Fereydoun was chairman and CEO of Stallergenes Greer, a UK-based biopharma company. Earlier he cofounded and was managing partner of Gurnet Point Capital, an investor in life sciences companies, and was managing director of Waypoint Capital, a Geneva-based family office, after a 20+ year career at biopharma company EMD Serono, which he ultimately led as president and CEO. Fereydoun serves on the presidential advisory council at the Berklee College of Music, and at the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. He is also the producer of short films and documentaries focused on Persian art and culture. Fereydoun was a Red Cross delegate in Afghanistan during the Soviet-Afghan War, and a first lieutenant in the Swiss Army.
