Speaker Bio: Chesley Chen is Chief Executive Officer of g.Root Biomedical Services, a biotech start-up that uses AI to save cancer patients by finding targeted treatments that were overlooked by doctors and genetic test companies. He is Strategic Advisor to numerous CEOs, Boards, and start-ups in digital health, life sciences, and other technology-driven industries. Chen has wide ranging experience as chief executive officer, entrepreneur, engineer, and Board member. He has worked with start-ups and large corporations that include Health Dialog, Good Measures, CIGNA, Miavita/Matria, Goldman Sachs, Sprint Telecom, and the Hughes Aircraft Company.
Chen volunteers as Co-Chair of Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology (WEST), as Strategic Advisor to the Wilson Center for Entrepreneurship at University of Massachusetts, and as judge for the Tufts Launchpad Accelerator. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University, M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
