The 2019 Harvard President's Innovation Challenge - Awards Ceremony

Do you want to discover the next generation of companies working to make the world work better? Don’t miss an exclusive opportunity at the President’s Innovation Challenge Award Ceremony on May 1st.

Several student teams from all Harvard schools are currently working on their application to enter the Challenge program. On May 1, you'll have the chance to meet the most innovative of the startups being built at Harvard and see 20 finalists showcase their highly-anticipated projects LIVE. Harvard President Lawrence Bacow will then announce this year's winners who will take home Bertarelli Foundation Prizes totaling $410,000 in award money.

About the President’s Innovation Challenge:
The President’s Innovation Challenge is a call to innovation and entrepreneurship. It’s a challenge to the entire Harvard community of students and postdocs to engage with pressing issues facing the world and to explore turning their ideas into impactful, real-world ventures. The Challenge is also a competition and an opportunity for these ventures to win funding. Venture proposals are evaluated by a panel of professional judges, with more than $310,000 in seed funding awarded to the winning teams at May ceremony. $75,000 first prizes and $25,000 runner-up prizes are awarded in each of three tracks: Social Impact or Cultural Enterprise, Health or Life Sciences Enterprise,and Open (for ideas that transcend categories).
