An investor, serial founder/entreprenuer, startup advisor, and competitive intelligence professional, Cvic's experience is uniquely focused on innovations across the deep-tech, sustainability & De-Fi sectors in both the US and several countries in Africa. Dr. Innocent is recognized for scouting cutting-edge technologies, for her work in VC spaces evaluating investments, and for her efforts piloting industrial-academic partnerships. As such, she currently sits on nonprofit boards, serves as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships for a local Chamber of Commerce, and is a startup mentor & accelerator judge. Previously, she completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Oxford, doctoral training at Cornell University, and began her scientific career at NASA.
