**Lisa Lewin** is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of corporate leadership experience. She is Partner at Primary Venture Partners, where she advises early-stage founders. Previously, Lisa was CEO of General Assembly, a pioneer in education and career transformation. Under her leadership, General Assembly expanded globally and successfully transitioned to a digital model. She has also held senior executive roles at two of the world’s largest learning companies, Pearson and McGraw-Hill, driving digital innovation and transformation globally.
Lisa is a board member of Custom Ink, Chief, and the Wikimedia Endowment, and she serves as a Trustee for the Bank Street College of Education. In 2020, Lisa co-authored the Business for Racial Equity Pledge as a member of pro-democracy nonprofit The Leadership Now Project, earning her a 92Y Extraordinary Women award and recognition as a PoliticsNY Power Player. Lisa holds a B.S. from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. with honors from Harvard Business School. She lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
