About Us

We support Harvard students and select alumni in their quest to explore the world of game-changing innovation and entrepreneurship.

Since our founding in 2011, we’ve helped 5,000+ ventures — with founders from all 13 Harvard schools — turn ideas into impact.

Whether you’re here to solve a problem by creating a venture or to explore how innovation and entrepreneurship can complement your Harvard experience, we're in your corner.

What we offer

We unleash the innovative power of individuals through a network of highly-curated advisors and mentors, peer collaboration and interaction, and comprehensive resource and programming support. Our ecosystem consists of three labs: the Student i-lab, the Alumni Launch Lab, and the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab.

What we believe

We believe that while knowledge is the engine of innovation, connection and collaboration are the fuel. We believe that when you bring together the right mix of people, with shared intentions and similar values, remarkable things happen. We believe in providing all the necessary supports for innovation, including psychological safety, transparency, empathy, compassion, connection and the opportunity for creative collision. We believe in unlocking unrealized value that can have a deep impact on markets, on the world, and on the individuals who walk through our doors.

Who we serve

We serve all matriculated, degree-seeking Harvard students with an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship as well as eligible alumni-led and faculty-led ventures.

Pitch to match event crowd

At the i-lab, we take the strengths of each Harvard school and help create a whole that’s greater than the sum of the parts. We strive to provide opportunities for founders to meet joiners and those from other disciplines and schools working on similar challenges.
