Key Program Dates + Deadlines

  • Student i-lab Membership

    • The summer term runs June 17-July 31, 2025.
    • New Member Deadline: May 28, 2025
    • Returning members have been automatically renewed.
    • For new members: As long as you meet all eligibility requirements, you will receive a new member welcome email on June 17, the first day of the summer term, which outlines your membership cohort and stage.

    Social Impact Fellowship Fund

    • Summer Round Deadline: May 2, 2025
    • Notification: May 20, 2025
    • Pitch Day/Selection: June 26, 2025

    High Potential Program

    • Summer 2025 Application Deadline: May 12, 2025
    • Notification/Selection: May 30, 2025
    • Investment Panel: June 25, 2025

    2026 President’s Innovation Challenge

    • Application will open in October 2025.
  • Launch Lab X Accelerator

    • 2025-26 Application Deadline: May 9, 2025
    • Notification/Selection: Mid-June 2025
    • LLX Pre-Acceleration will run July 7, 2025, through December 19, 2025.
    • The LLX Accelerator will run October 2025 through May 2026.
    • Applications for residency at the Harvard Life Labs are reviewed on a rolling basis.
    • There is only one application for both the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab and the Blavatnik Harvard Life Lab Longwood.
    • The next selection committee meeting will be scheduled soon.
  • Harvard Climate Entrepreneurs Circle Accelerator

Resources for Student Members

  • Becoming an i-lab member is the best way to take advantage of all we have to offer. You’ll get access to advisors and experts,
    cohort-specific programming, funding opportunities, and more to support you along your entrepreneurial journey.

    We tailor our resources by membership stage to help you explore entrepreneurship, test out an idea, discover your customers, build an MVP, apply for venture funding, and more.

    If you're a current member, watch our recorded new member orientation sessions which summarize resources by stage.

    This blog post also outlines key resources for getting started at the i-lab.

  • We offer a number of opportunities to meet other members in the i-lab community, such as:

    • Attending founder/joiner pitch events and other networking events
    • Searching our online member directory
    • Posting in our Slack communities
    Read this blog post for five key ways to meet cofounders or join an existing team using the resources at Harvard Innovation Labs.
  • Access to the i-lab's co-working space is available to non-Harvard affiliates who are members of a venture team that is an active member of a Harvard Innovation Labs program or lab. The Harvard team lead must add team members through the Venture Update Form. Access for non-Harvard affiliates does not extend to other Harvard buildings and resources.

  • Yes, we offer a number of funding opportunities to help you take your venture to the next level.

    • Social Impact Fellowship Fund: Non-dilutive grants for ventures led by Harvard students with a focus on social impact. Ventures may be for profit or non-profit. Typical award amount: $4,000-$15,000.
    • Spark Grants: Non-dilutive grants for ventures in our Student i-lab membership to conduct demand validation experiments. Award amount: $250-$750.
    • President’s Innovation Challenge: A global venture competition for Harvard students and select alumni and affiliates. $517,000 total awarded. Application opens in the fall.
  • Office hours are hosted either in-person or virtually. Pay close attention to the meeting location when booking your session. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending an in-person meeting, please contact us as soon as possible to request virtual accommodation.

    If you can no longer attend your session, please cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance by clicking on the cancel/reschedule link in your confirmation email.
