How to Use AI for Public Relations (and How Not To)

Learn when AI can accelerate your PR efforts—and when it can get in the way.

AI tools can help founders move faster, but effective public relations still requires strategy, judgment, and authentic storytelling. In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore how AI agents can support common PR activities, from media research and opportunity identification to messaging development and outreach preparation.

Using the PRStack open-source toolkit, participants will learn practical ways to incorporate AI into their communications workflows while avoiding common pitfalls. Through demonstrations and guided exercises, you'll gain experience using AI-powered tools to streamline research, strengthen messaging, and uncover media opportunities for your startup, project, organization, or personal brand.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of where AI adds value in the PR process, where human insight remains essential, and how to build a more effective communications strategy using both.
