Ideas Don't Matter! (And What Does)

Join us at the Harvard Innovation Labs for a special workshop featuring Michael Skok and Becca Xiong.

Join us at the Harvard Innovation Labs for a workshop with Michael Skok, founding partner at Underscore VC, and Becca Xiong, Managing Director of Programs and Engagement at the i-lab.

Discover why ideas are just the beginning, and learn what truly drives venture outcomes—validation, execution, and more. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain expert advice on navigating early-stage challenges and building impactful ventures!

THE INSIDE SCOOP

This event offers selected teams a chance to get personalized advice from Michael Skok, an expert on solving customer validation challenges. Five teams will pose their challenges to Michael and he'll strategize on the spot. These insights will be illuminating for the teams and audience alike! Teams, you'll have the option to volunteer when you register for the event.

At the workshop, Michael will also present his latest framework on the customer journey. He's a famed founder and investor who has contributed to the birth and development of six unicorn companies valued at over $1 billion. Michael has built his success on three pillars: identifying and supporting entrepreneurial talent, cultivating the strategic vision to invest early based on major tech shifts, and buliding companies directly. Whether you're an Explorer or part of a Propel team, you don't want to miss the chance to meet Michael and hear what he has to say about getting to know your customer.

P.S. Michael's Startup Secrets are the i-lab's most popular YouTube hits. First published over a decade ago, rising innovators around the world are still learning from his videos today — and now's your chance to learn from Michael IRL.
