Annie has led jack & annie’s and The Jackfruit Company since 2011 to pioneer the world’s leading jackfruit supply chain, R&D, and brands, including a top 5 brand in Frozen Plant-Based Meat. With a fully owned subsidiary in India, the company works directly with thousands of small farmers, contributing 10-40% of their annual income. jack & annie’s and The Jackfruit Company have won several national and global awards for best-tasting plant-based foods and innovation, and account for more than 70% of all retail jackfruit product sales in the US. After graduating from Harvard College (2013, summa cum laude, Sophia Freund Prize), Annie left Harvard Medical School to scale her venture and has been recognized as Forbes 30 under 30 (2017), Top Women in Grocery (2019), an Unreasonable Fellow (2019), and Entrepreneur of the Year (Mountain West, 2022).
