Bill is a cofounder & Partner at Flare Capital Partners, a team of proven healthcare technology venture capital investors known for delivering strategic industry resources, insight and a total commitment to the success of our partnering entrepreneurs. Prior to cofounding Flare Capital Partners and closing its inaugural fund in 2015, Bill was with North Bridge Venture Partners for 20 years since its inception in 1994.
During Bill's 30-year tenure investing in young healthcare and technology companies, he has served on the Boards of numerous industry-leading companies, actively helping and working closely with founders and management teams.
Bill holds a B.S. degree from Boston College and an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and has served BC as former Chair of the Board of Trustees and on its Investment & Endowment Committee. Additionally, Bill has chaired the Parents Committee of Duke University and the Parents Advisory Board of Stanford University, served on the Board of MGH Institute of Health Professions, is an appointee of former Mass. Governor Charlie Baker to serve on the Oversight Council of the Massachusetts Center for Health Information and Analysis, and is on the Advisory Council of the Dept. of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.
