Carissa Bryce Christensen is the founder and CEO of BryceTech LLC, an analytics and engineering firm serving clients with deep tech-enabled missions, including NASA and the US Department of Defense. She also founded and leads Bryce Space and Technology Limited in the UK. Known for driving strategy with evidence-based decision making, Carissa has built a career in complex, cutting-edge tech environments.
She co-founded QxBranch, a quantum computing software firm acquired by Rigetti Computing in 2019, and The Tauri Group LLC, a government contractor acquired by LMI in 2019. She helped incubate intelligence-focused CenTauri Solutions, acquired by CSC in 2010. As an angel investor, Carissa has supported deep tech enterprise applications, including edge AI and cyber insurance.
Carissa advises heads of agencies, defense leaders, Fortune 100 C-suites, and institutional investors. She participates in space wargames as a senior advisor, supporting inputs into security strategy for the US and allies. Carissa guest lectures at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, and the National Defense University. She is frequently interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, Financial Times, and Axios as a subject matter expert, and has appeared in several space documentaries. Carissa is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and of the Royal Aeronautical Society. In 2023, she was named GovCon Executive of the Year in the $75M business class.
Carissa graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School with a Master of Public Policy, specializing in science and technology. She attended Rutgers University and the London School of Economics as an undergraduate.
