UMA is a socially-minded venture that has already empowered over 400 Peruvian female artisans in the most impoverished Peruvian rural regions, with plans to scale our model across South America.

UMA connects talented female artisans at the forefront of South American handcrafted design practices with global high-end design markets, promoting fair pay for the bearers of our cultural heritage.

The UMA team co-designs high-quality product offerings with artisans, supports them with design upskilling and essential production inputs, and offers financial support to enable their operation and grow their business as empowered, independent entrepreneurs.
