10 for 10: Celebrating a Decade of Innovation, October Edition

10 For 10 October Edition

In 2021, the Harvard Innovation Labs kicked off its tenth anniversary celebration with its “10 for 10” campaign—a yearlong series of monthly features highlighting 10 extraordinary innovations that have come out of the Harvard Innovation Labs since 2011.

Every fall, we’re reminded about what makes the Harvard Innovation Labs truly special—the cross-disciplinary nature of our university innovation center. That's why for the final 10 for 10 installment, we’re highlighting innovations across a wide range of industries. And in recognition of the 13 Harvard schools, we’ve selected 13 ventures:

  • Cobu for powering genuine community in apartment buildings across the U.S. and Canada.
  • DreamXAmerica for bringing together filmmaking and impact investing to highlight and support immigrant entrepreneurs in towns across America. You can watch the DreamXAmerica short film documentary on PBS.
  • Handy for building the leading platform for connecting individuals looking for household services with top-quality, pre-screened independent service professionals. The company was founded in 2012 and acquired by ANGI Homeservices in 2018.
