Since opening our doors in 2011, the Harvard Innovation Labs has supported over 6,000 ventures across dozens of industries — including more than 1,000 ventures during this academic year alone. Founders who have received support from the Harvard Innovation Labs have gone on to raise more than $8 billion in funding and have impacted the lives of millions of people.
Below is a selection of significant 2025 achievements across our vibrant network of current and former ventures. From raising capital to launching products, growing customer bases, and achieving technological breakthroughs, these ventures continue to make an outsized impact on industries and communities worldwide.
- 1Climate, an AI-powered platform that automates clean energy permitting and incentive processes, was acquired by Distill Energy.
- Adaptive Reader, a venture reimagining books so that every learner is able to engage with rigorous content, raised an oversubscribed pre-seed round, secured partnerships with major curriculum providers, and received a $25,000 prize in the 2025 Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge. Its AI-driven platform for accessible reading was featured on NPR’s "All Things Considered."
- Enlaye, an AI-native risk lifecycle management platform for the built world, secured $1.7 million in pre-seed funding and co-hosted an "Innovating for the Built World" event at the Harvard Innovation Labs.
- Fanory.ai, a venture using AI to empower creators, has been acquired by Jetsynthesys, a global entertainment and tech leader.
- Hago Energetics is developing sustainable solutions to the climate crisis. This year, Hago was accepted into ARCHES, the California Hydrogen Hub. They also received a $2 million Department of Energy grant to scale up their technology.
- HaloBraid, a robotic hair braider that reduces braiding time from hours to minutes, secured a $1 million investment prize from AlleyCorp's Peerless Pitch competition, and was a $75,000 winner in the 2025 Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge.
- Holly, an AI platform reinventing government hiring, raised $2.2 million and launched a pilot with Long Beach, California, to streamline public sector recruiting.
- Illumicell AI raised $2 million to launch a portable AI platform for real-time male fertility diagnostics.
- Metafin, a venture powering the solar energy transition for rural India, enabled 2,000 solar off-grid projects across India and raised $10 million in Series A funding.
- NetaCarbon was selected as one of 15 companies in Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator’s W25 cohort and received $150,000 in funding for its platform to digitize and streamline the carbon credit issuance process.
- Qalam Health Solutions secured funding from the Quebec government for full-time salary support and operations.
- Sporo Health, a venture redefining AI for healthcare, was recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 in Greece and raised $1.1 million in pre-seed funding.

- 30 Years in 30 Minutes, a podcast created by Michael Oved (College '25) that features industry leaders including the founders of Zillow, TripAdvisor, and Moderna, has surpassed one million streams.
- Focal completed one year of beta testing its personalized electric heating systems, interacting with more than 5,500 users across five locations.
- Health Tech Without Borders has helped more than 61,000 patients in regions of crisis to seek medical and psychological support and facilitated targeted training for more than 2,000 clinicians.
- HENUA Technologies is gaining traction in Latin America with high-profile clients like BHP Billiton Escondida and Kyocera Chile. Its sustainability platform was featured by Chile’s largest news site and showcased at EXPOMIN.
- Labhya Foundation has expanded its well-being programs to millions more vulnerable children in India.
- Patient First.AI secured a contract with a university in Boston and onboarded more than 3,500 students onto its platform that helps students submit their health forms effortlessly, provides real-time feedback on compliance status, and addresses any issues that may arise.
- Serious Pyaar, a marriage-oriented South Asian dating app, has successfully facilitated five weddings, and now has more than 1,000 active users.
- Storyfave achieved 10x revenue growth and landed publishing contracts with major retailers like Barnes & Noble.
- The Surpluss will support over one million SMEs in Southeast Asia with its digital solution to share their underutilized resources and profit from them.
- The Unifly Collective (formerly Barefoot EDU Foundation) has impacted 7,500 students through its program that provides sports coaching to improve 21st-century skills in youth from under-resourced backgrounds.
- Trans Health HQ launched a clinician and community hub supporting 1,000+ users across five continents globally.
- Ukraine Global Scholars Foundation helped 300+ Ukrainian students receive over $78 million in scholarships to attend leading global institutions.

- Canopy Nepal partnered with Nepal's state government to integrate its storytelling curriculum into 4,896 schools, impacting over 220,000 students.
- Carbon Counts formed key alliances in South America and with the World Economic Forum to scale innovative carbon capture and reforestation projects. Additionally, the organization has reforested nearly 2.5 million trees in East Africa.
- Carbon Trap validated its CO₂ absorption capabilities for carbon offset certification, utilizing compost byproducts to support forest restoration, and formed key alliances to expand its early-stage initiatives in South America and Europe.
- EarthAcre partnered with Klarna and Milkywire to deliver direct biodiversity payments to Indigenous households in Kenya.
- GenUnity, a venture activating everyday adults to create a community by everyone, for everyone, announced a strategic partnership with Partners in Democracy.
- Invert Inc., a leading carbon reduction and removal company, partnered with Toronto International Film Festival and other global initiatives to expand sustainable forestry practices and voluntary carbon markets. Additionally, Invert CEO Andre Fernandez has been appointed to the International Carbon Reduction and Offsetting Accreditation Governance Committee.
- LivXp secured a multi-year partnership with Tour de Suisse, one of the world’s premier cycling events, for fan engagement.
- Moxie Scrubs secured a partnership with Nurse.org to promote its scrubs during Nurses Month in May 2025. Additionally, Moxie360, the company's AI driven app for nurses, secured its first hospital pilot.
- SubjectToClimate partnered with EarthDay.org, Council on Foreign Relations Education, National Education Association, Stanford Understand Energy Learning Hub, and The Nature Conservancy this Earth Month to help educators all over the world integrate sustainability and environmental responsibility into any subject.
- ThermoTerra has entered into an agreement with the State of Israel to expand its initial pilot system for the heating and cooling of temporary refugee shelters.

- Bummock AI, a smart legal monitoring room for startups, VCs, and lawyers, launched its MVP and secured a pilot with a top U.S. law firm.
- GoAnd Slay launched a WhatsApp-based English proficiency tool and became the official language training provider for Brazil’s fourth largest airport.
- GoPowerEV has completed one of the largest multifamily EV charging installations in the country. With a total of 150 charging spaces, this installation is remarkable in that it did not require upgrading the electrical service to the building.
- Grensol announced that Switzerland granted the organization a permit to build and operate its first demonstration plant for recycling used car parts.
- IAMBIC announced the Art Gods x IAMBIC collection, bringing together Miami’s boldest artists and IAMBIC’s industry-shifting AI technology to create something entirely new: wearable sculpture, engineered for movement and expression.
- iEmbrace launched its beta version with a live workshop, giving users a hands-on experience with its meditation app.
- PromptED led a mini-course at the Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, supporting educators and EdTech founders in AI-driven learning design.
- Rise Collective launched its inaugural student fellowship, connecting youth to mentors and fostering long-term academic and career development.
- Trustty Reporter launched an MVP of its AI-powered B2B SaaS platform for business analytics, insights, and recommendations.
