Since opening its doors in 2011, the Harvard Innovation Labs has grown from a university innovation center supporting a few dozen student founders to one that serves more than 10 percent of the entire Harvard student body. Over the last 13 years, the Harvard Innovation Labs has helped nurture well over 10,000 alumni and student innovators that have collectively started more than 5,000 ventures, with record-setting student participation in programming throughout 2024.

Today, the Harvard Innovation Labs’ staff and global network of advisors are working with thousands of entrepreneurs across the Student i-lab, for student members across all 13 Harvard schools; Launch Lab X, an accelerator for alumni-led ventures; the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab, a launchpad for biotech and life sciences startups; and the Harvard Climate Entrepreneurs Circle, for high-potential climate entrepreneurs.

More than 2,000 students joined the Student i-lab as members this fall. Many are focused on building hundreds of ventures, while others are learning about the world of entrepreneurship, exploring ideas, or seeking to join an existing venture.
