The Harvard Innovation Labs recently welcomed more than 2,000 members to the Student i-lab. These students represent all 13 Harvard schools and are working on a range of products, services, and ideas across dozens of industries.

Many of the fall i-lab members are focused on building more than 600 ventures, while others have joined the i-lab to learn about the world of entrepreneurship, explore ideas, or join an existing venture.

“During i-lab orientations this month, our new student members showed an incredible passion for their work as well a deep interest in collaborating with peers, our advisors, and our global network of mentors,” said Matt Segneri, Bruce and Bridgitt Evans Executive Director of the Harvard Innovation Labs. “This fall, we’re excited to provide our members with the stage-appropriate resources they’ll need to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journeys. Most importantly, we’ll work to build a community that connects students across the University, turning their ideas into impact across multiple disciplines.”

Harvard Innovation Labs members have access to expert advisors, workshops, community-building events, and resources for ideation and building products and services. Members may also apply for a range of funding opportunities. Additionally, members can participate in the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, an annual venture competition where winners take home a share of $517,000 in non-dilutive funding.
