Over the last decade, 2,500+ ventures have been developed within the Harvard Innovation Labs by Harvard students, alumni, and faculty across a broad range of industries. Their impact can be seen across the globe.

To celebrate the Harvard Innovation Labs 10-Year Anniversary, every month for the next year we’ll highlight 10 incredible ventures that have come out of the Harvard Innovation Labs ecosystem. Our first 10 for 10 list includes:

  • ArtLifting for connecting socially conscious companies with talented artists around the world impacted by housing insecurity or disabilities.
  • Catalant for building the fastest and easiest way to find more than 70,000 independent experts and 1,000 consulting firms for market research, corporate strategy, project management, and more.
  • CarePort for developing web-based health care software used by more than 1,000 hospitals and over 100,000 community-based post-care providers to place outpatients in care facilities.
  • Getaway for changing how people think about “unplugging” on vacation with its 600+ cozy cabins that provide restorative stays in nature.
  • SES for introducing the most mature, practical, and independently validated Li-Metal battery for electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Shield AI for building AI systems used by the U.S. Department of Defense to protect service members and civilians.
  • Tomorrow.io for developing the most accurate way to provide real-time weather forecasts to customers around the world, such as AWS, JetBlue, and the New England Patriots.
  • Vaxess for creating sustained release smart delivery technologies for medicines and vaccines, and developing a combined COVID-19 and quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccine.
  • WHOOP for developing the world’s most advanced fitness wearable, worn by the world’s top athletes and recognized as the World’s Most Innovative Health Company by Fast Company.
  • ZoomCar for launching an Indian self-drive car rental company that operates in more than 34 cities.
