ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Dr. Shikha Anand is currently the chief medical officer at Casana, a company that is “innovating healthcare delivery with a smart toilet seat that enables in-home health monitoring.” She is a physician-executive with experience in medical devices, wearable technology, health data, behavior change, and condition management. She has previously served as chief medical officer at Withings, a global consumer device company, and Well, an early-stage startup that combines a digital application with human support to engage consumers in behavior change and optimal healthcare utilization. She has also served as the chief medical officer for transformation at Aetna and the clinical lead for Aetna’s Apple alliance, the national medical director for Walmart, and the chief health officer for the National Institute for Children's Health Quality, and has held numerous leadership roles in and with underserved communities and safety net healthcare systems. Shikha is a proven leader in scaling new technologies into the healthcare ecosystem and driving innovation and quality to improve the patient experience at community, state, and national levels. She is also a practicing physician who is board-certified in pediatrics and clinical informatics.
