Annie Garofalo has dedicated her decade-long career to understanding team relationships. She draws directly from her academic studies in relational and organizational behavior at Stanford (MBA & MA Sociology) and Harvard (BA Neurobiology), as well as her professional experience as a founder (My Merkata), C-suite executive (Skylyte), investor and portfolio operations parter (MBA Fund, Stanford's Impact Fund), and growth strategy consultant (Innosight).
Annie created Confidante's co-founder relationship building program, facilitating the essential conversations to methodically surface key differences before they become deal-breakers and reduce the current 65% of startups who fail due to co-founder conflict. To date, Confidante has supported early stage founding teams (Pre-Seed through Series A) across all industries and partners with leading accelerators, including YC, Antler, and NFX.
