Most recently, he served as SVP of Specialty Care Solutions at CVS Health, where he led strategy and innovation for digital specialty care across one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems.
Founded in 2013, RubiconMD scaled to serve primary care clinicians across 37 states, raised $40M+ from top-tier investors, and was named by the Huffington Post as one of the “Five Companies Defining the Future of Healthcare”. Prior to founding RubiconMD, Gil was a Consultant at Putnam Associates and held strategy and business development roles at Xerox, Cubist (acquired by Merck), and two early-stage healthcare ventures.
Recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Crain’s 40 Under 40, and Business Insider 30 Under 40, Gil has appeared in Inc., CNBC, Fortune, and Entrepreneur Magazine. In 2020, Crain’s named him one of the Most Notable in Health Care, and in 2017 he received their Heritage Healthcare Innovator of the Year Award. He holds a BS in Economics and Biomedical Engineering from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
