Shalen built a venture backed medicaid tech AI business out of the Harvard iLab (acquired by Optum in 2023), and has worked with an array of fast growing healthcare companies like NationsBenefits, Modivcare, Fresh Connect, and Revel AI Health to bring innovative health technology to market. Prior to this, Shalen spent a decade in investment banking and structured finance and holds degrees in Public Health, Finance and Math from Harvard, Cambridge and LSE, respectively.
