Shara Ticku is the CEO and co-founder of C16 Biosciences. She has additionally served as President and as a member of the board of directors since the company's inception in 2018. Shara began her career on Wall Street in the Securities Division of Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS). She left Goldman Sachs to join the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), working with pharmaceutical companies, multinational donors such as the United Nations, and national governments to increase access to sexual health and reproductive medicine in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Before co-founding C16 Biosciences, she also held positions at Progyny (NASDAQ: PGNY) and with the United Nations Special Envoy for Health and Malaria. Shara holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA/BBA from the University of Texas, where she double majored in Plan II Honors Program and the Business Honors Program, with a minor in Finance.
