David García Lou, MD, MBA, MPH, is a physician-entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Amigdala Boston, a digital health platform focused on improving care coordination through advanced data analytics and patient management technologies. He also serves as Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard University, where he develops transatlantic programs connecting European institutions and research organizations with the Boston innovation ecosystem. Earlier in his career, Dr. García Lou spent six years in Shanghai leading expansion and manufacturing operations for his first medical-device startup. He later completed his specialization in Family Medicine, building extensive clinical experience. He earned an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, he led a regional public health response within a Spanish regional government. Dr. García Lou is a strong advocate for greater involvement of public health professionals in entrepreneurship and innovation.
