Shamez Kanji
Shamez is a graduate of Harvard College (1988) and Harvard Business School (1994). Shamez has an extensive background as both an entrepreneur and an investor. Early is his career Shamez co-founded a healthcare services company that specialized in Cardiovascular disease management. Subsequently Shamez co-founded The Clearview Group, a venture incubator that developed three companies which went public, MedAssets.com, Greenlight.com, and Endurance International. Shamez was co-head of Capital One's venture group, and then a managing director at Devonshire Investors, the alternative assets vehicle for the owners of Fidelity Investments. At Devonshire, Shamez formed and provided oversight for funds investing in the consumer and crypto markets. Shamez retired in 2024 but maintains a deep interest in the development of new venture markets and in helping entrepreneurs.
